From May 31 through October 15, 2003, Herbert Palmer Gallery presents an exhibition of collage works on paper by artist Niki de Saint Phalle.

Niki de St. Phalle is a star in many worlds; fashion, photography, illustration and sculpture. An innovator, Saint Phalle made the first sculpture where form and color were shot from a shotgun.

She was a favorite pf Pontus Hulten, the first director of MOCA. In Europe, her sculpture along with the work of her famous husband, Jean Tinguely is prominent in public art spaces, museums and galleries.

Her death was caused by the toxicity of her media.

The Art world will miss Saint Phalle but her art will mark a high point in Twentieth Century culture and sophistication.
